M-CODEC(Michigan Compressed Opportunities Designed to Enhance Curriculum)
Classrooms have made many electronic connections with content providers throughout the nation. Unfortunately, these classrooms have not been able to access valuable Michigan content resources because there are very few compressed video content provider sites available in the state. The REMC Association has a history of cooperation and collaboration, fostering statewide projects that benefit students. During the 2003/2004 school year, the M-CODEC Project fully equipped and supported up to four compressed video content provider sites to provide curriculum rich electronic field trips to K-12 students.
