Recognizing that school success requires that children spend their first years in nurturing, stimulating environments, early childhood programs focus on supporting and encouraging parents as they cultivate healthy, stimulating relationships with their young children. Because parents are their children’s first and most important teachers, the CISD, working in collaboration with local schools and community partners, provides services to families through the Great Parents, Great Start program.
