If you are conducting a program and would like to offer your class SB-CEUs, you must:
1. Complete the application. (Link below) This is a word document, so you will be able to type in it, save it, and email it to your district contact person for SB-CEUs.
2. Your district contact person will send it to CISD.
3. If everything is correct, the CISD will apply to the MDE. If changes need to be made, you will be contacted.
4. When your program is approved, you will receive all of the forms necessary to conduct your program.

Beginning January 1, 2010, the following changes are coming regarding SBCEUs.
1. You will need to know and use your PIC (Personal Identification Code) that has been assigned by REP (Registry of Educational Personnel). Your HR department should have this for you. You will use it throughout the State of Michigan when signing up for SBCEUs.
2. You will pay a non-refundable $15 fee to be awarded SBCEUs through Calhoun ISD. Other sponsors may charge differently.
3. The MDE is implementing a Secure Central Registry (SCR) for SBCEUs. Sponsors all over the State will be putting SBCEU information into the one SCR. You will be able to check your SBCEU totals at that site.
4. There will be a five-year transition for this new system to be fully implemented. If your certificate comes due any time during the next five years, you will have to get a transcript from Calhoun ISD and also the new SCR.
