Description of program:


The Welding Technology Program prepares students for skills in stick-arc, Metal Inert Gas, Tungsten Inert Gas, and oxy-fuel welding. Students spend time in welding booths and transfer learned skills doing repairs and projects. Students will also be involved in regional and state competitions in metal working and welding competitions. They will compete throughout the state of Michigan against other schools and career centers. Students can also earn articulation credit at local colleges and universities in Michigan for tasks completed in the welding program.
