Description of program:

Students develop skills and knowledge in the major fields of Marketing and Entrepreneurship (starting your own business). Areas of study include retailing, advertising, 1professional sales and marketing, human relations, finance, business and economic principles, business start up, and related academic skills. Students utilize various computer software programs to produce essential business documents. Students have the opportunity to explore e-commerce and business management. Capstone activities include the development of a comprehensive business plan and a professional sales demonstration. Students may become 2members of DECA, a national marketing student organization. DECA provides leadership opportunities and student competitions. Marketing is a one-or two-year program.
