Description of program:


Based on the National Institute for Metalworking Standards (NIMS), completers of the program may apply for NIMS certification. Students work on a variety of precision 1metalworking equipment including lathes, mills, drill presses, surface grinders, and Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machining. Classroom time focuses on employability skills as well as learning technical information.
